About the event
Every Thursday at 7pm, CSL Tacoma gathers for an evening of stillness, reflection, and community — and you're invited.
Led by Rev. Drew Ebersole, our weekly meditation follows the Theravada tradition of vipassana, a Sanskrit word meaning "insight." It's one of the oldest and most accessible forms of meditation: a quiet, guided practice of present-moment awareness that anyone can enter, regardless of background or experience.
The evening begins with 40 minutes of guided meditation, followed by a short break and a group reflection on teachings centered on living in balance and harmony. Think of it as a midweek reset — a space to slow down, breathe, and connect with others on a similar path.
Whether you're a longtime practitioner or have never sat in meditation before, you'll find a warm, unpretentious community here. This is one of the most accessible ways to experience what CSL Tacoma is about.
Every Thursday…
